Once the stems become laden with fruit they can get quite heavy and may require a little bit of support to prevent them breaking – some soft ties are perfect for this (make your own from old tights). 

Being determinate Cherry Falls produce a flush of ripe fruit over a 4-5 week period.  There is no need to remove sideshoots however they should develop roots easily if you pot them up as soon as they are removed… this will give you some additional plants that will fruit slightly later – these ‘free’ plants will extend your harvest with even more toms
