Gardener's Delight is one of the most popular varieties in our selection and deservedly so: the outstanding tangy flavoured cherry sized fruits are produced in abundance. Its a personal favourite of ours that we grow year after year. Indeterminate.
Price for 12 seeds
SOW: we start ours about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected sowing in modules (cover or put on a windowsill). We transplant to pots when large enough to handle and grow on until ready to harden off and plant after frost danger has passed.
GROW: plant in the greenhouse or in a sunny sheltered part of your garden. For the best flavour keep soil evenly damp: don’t overfeed. Gardener’s Delight, being indeterminate, can grow tall and will need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season. There is no need to pinch out the side shoots unless you prefer to do so.
ENJOY: these tangy toms are great in salads.
