Once bitten you will always want more of this exceptionally richly flavoured irresistible little tom. The sweet and juicy 1” fruits are produced in abundance all summer long on the large and vigorous plants. Simply stunning: we grow this for ourselves year after year. Indeterminate
SOW: about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected, into modules (cover or put on a windowsill). We transplant to pots when large enough to handle and grow on until ready to harden off and plant after frost danger has passed.
GROW: plant in the greenhouse or in a sunny sheltered part of your garden. For the best flavour keep soil evenly damp (try not to over-water or overfeed). Black Cherry, being indeterminate, will grow tall and will need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season.
EAT: Simply stunning and irresistible.
