Curled cress has been in cultivation since the end of the 16th century. This variety is perfect for popping into a sandwich or using as a garnish. All you need is a little space on your window sill Price for approximately 1500 seeds.
SOW: sow thinly at any time of the year on damp paper in a saucer or other container (spread tubs are ideal), keep damp but not soaked.
GROW: keep the container on a window sill and don’t let it dry out, cut the cress as you need it. Sow some more on fresh paper as necessary.
EAT: mix into salads, scatter on top of chilled summer soups (particularly cucumber soup) and of course pop some in a sandwich!
