SOW: no more than 10mm deep from February to July; under cloches or in cold frames in the spring but warm the soil with the cloches before sowing or wait for warmer weather. Dig the soil thoroughly first & sow sparingly to avoid the need for too much thinning. Sowing in early spring before mid-March or late June/July can avoid the worst of the carrot fly.
GROW: keep moist and weed free – they don’t like the competition
EAT: we love this variety cooked whole in stews and casseroles or roasted in the autumn. They are fun in salads too. Freeze Paris Market Atlas whole or halved.
