With Ring of Fire you can look forward to a mass of long thin pointed pods that mature from green to red and reach a fiery hot 70,000 to 80,000 Scoville. Price for 10 seeds
SOW: from mid-April to end of May, indoors in a warm soil in trays or modules barely covering the seeds as they need light to germinate.
GROW: when they reach the 2/3 leaf stage plant into a greenhouse or harden off and grow outside in a warm sheltered spot. They are happy in a container or you can fit 3 or 4 Ring of Fire plants into a grow bag. The heat increases as the chillies ripen.
EAT: can be used fresh (will keep up to 3 weeks in a fridge) or dried, or ground into powder. Chillies freeze well.
