CHILLI CYKLON ~ sitting on the warm end of mild (2500-5000 scoville), for salads, salsa or drying for paprika 10 seeds
SOW: from mid-April to end of May, indoors in a warm soil in trays or modules barely covering the seeds as they need light to germinate.
GROW: when they reach the 2/3 leaf stage they can be planted into a greenhouse or hardened off and put outside in a warm sheltered spot. You can grow them in the soil, in a container or in a grow bag. Cyklon plants grow to about 75cm tall. Each chilli can grow up to 15cm long & be slightly curved: ripening from green to red
EAT: mild enough to add to salad, enough ‘kick’ for salsa. These are a top choice for drying and grinding into paprika: the quick method is to use the oven on low (50°C) for at least 6 hours until they are brittle and ready to grind.
