Brilliant F1 is a superb earlier variety (from November) that can crop through to February: producing plump individual sprouts, a reliable and high quality variety with an excellent flavour - sweet, nutty and considered to be milder and less bitter than other heavy button types. Brilliant is a heavy cropper so ideal for those with limited space.

Did you know that you can persuade the sprouts into maturing all at once by cutting off the top of the plant about 3 weeks before you want to harvest… so for Christmas sprouts cut the top off the plant in the 1st week of December and for New Year sprouts chop off the top in the 2nd week of December!
