Romanesca da Taglio can be grown as a cut-&-come-again salad choice. This variety, from the Rome area, has thin, serrated, dark green leaves with classic endive taste and texture. These grow in upright bunches making it easy-peasy to harvest. Perfect for salads or grow on for cooking.

This endive is best for spring and autumn sowings but will work at any time throughout the growing season avoiding hot dry weather. For cut-&-come-again aim for 5cm between plants and cut when 7-10cm tall. For larger individual plants widen the spacing to 10-15cm apart
