TOKYO BEKANA ~ unique: bright green ruffled leaves that are sweet and crunchy and will grow all year round 50 seeds
SOW: at any time of the year for baby leaf and heads
GROW: with protection in the colder months of the year, although hardy to very low temperatures they are not so happy exposed to the wet cold of UK winters so need to be out of the rain! They have grown fine outside in a less than perfect summer.
EAT: salad is the obvious choice for baby leaves but you are not restricted as you can also cook Tokyo Bekana: sauté, stir fry, braise, use in soup or steam and serve with fish, meat or indeed other vegetables.
