Radish
Radishes have a long season and produce lots from a small space, aim for 2cm spacing. By sowing successionaly you can have radishes in your salad – a few at a time! Sow outside between March and August, if you have protection try early sowings in January-March and late ones in September/October. We have lots of variety and two mixes to choose from, and our prices let you enjoy the flavour of several varieties without spending lots

This is also known as Butter Radish, an heirloom first mentioned in 1918, the flavour is rich with a buttery texture yet mild and not hot. The interior is a crisp white. These can grow quite large but they are best, in my opinion, pulled by the time they reach 4cm diameter.
