SOW in spring, prick out seedlings into pots and plant out when well grown

GROW:  space at 30-50cm apart.  Happy in full or part sun and any soil type, generally trouble free, keep weeded and mulch with compost annually to maximise leaf growth.  Leaf clumps can be 30-60cm tall whilst the summer flowers will shoot up much higher.  Watch out for slugs and snails and cut back in late spring for a new flush of young leaves leaving a few plants to flower.

It also has lots of stems covered in pink strawberry like fruits from mid summer onwards that can be eaten fresh.
