Easy to grow, quite compact

I tried to grow these up a trellis, but they just stayed at the bottom like a bush, so next year I'll just plant them on flat ground, they didn't take up as much space as other pumpkins. This was quite an early fruiting pumpkin, planted out at the end of May and ready to eat in early August (which meant I could plant some last minute runner beans in its place up the trellis!). My one plant made 5 little pumpkins. They are adorable with their orange stripes, quite a thick skin to cut through / peel but have sweet, pale flesh - we roasted ours and they were very nice.
