SOW: dig the soil well first and create a furrow: in dry weather water the furrow before sowing from April to July (seed depth 10mm). A July sowing can help avoid carrot fly trouble.
GROW: keep moist & weed free & allow 4 months to reach maturity - plan to harvest August to November (or later if protected through the winter months)
ENJOY: enjoy the sweet carroty flavour (it is a carrot!): that sweetness lasts throughout from the first one pulled to the last carrot standing. To Freeze - slice or dice larger carrots, blanch for 3 minutes, plunge in cold water, drain and pack into convenient sized potions.
