Rocket, Rocket, Rocket! If rocket is a favourite in your kitchen, why stop at just one? These three give you plenty to explore, from succulent, milder leaves to a much punchier wild rocket flavour.
Pick the young leaves for a gentler taste or let them develop a bit more bite. Scatter them over salads, pasta, roasted veg and omelettes, wilt them into a stir-fry or sauce, or try the edible flowers too. Quick to grow and wonderfully useful, there are plenty of reasons to keep a pot or patch of rocket on the go.
Esmee – a milder rocket with succulent, lobed leaves and good resistance to bolting when summer weather can't quite make up its mind.
Rucola Coltivata – large, attractive lobed leaves with excellent flavour. Pick them young for a milder bite or leave them to develop more of that characteristic rockety kick.
Uber – a salad rocket with the flavour punch you'd expect from a wild one. Just the thing when you want your rocket to make itself noticed! Give all three a try and discover just how different each rocket can be.
