For the ultimate authentic flavour you need go no further than Wild Rocket in your veg patch. It has a stronger, spicier flavour than most of the cultivated rockets - it behaves a little more wildly too.
This variety is part of our naturally nurtured range, the seed comes from an organic source
SOW: in spring, summer and early autumn, in modules (you can then space plants out) or sow thinly in situ. (You can sow in the autumn & winter with protection but for Wild Rocket we prefer to follow its natural season).
GROW: keep watered, plants are ready as soon as large enough to take a few leaves at a time. Picking frequently encourages new growth and discourages bolting in warmer weather. With care you can harvest into the autumn and winter.
EAT & ENJOY: Wild Rocket perks up salads with its spicy flavour; you can also steam leaves, use then in sauces and stir fry them. The flowers are also edible.
