Turnip Sweetbell F1

Turnip Sweetbell F1 is exceptionally sweet, firm and crisp – another lovely variety to tempt you to add turnip to your salad; this is indeed a salad turnip that can be pulled from just 4cm in diameter or left to grow on to 6-8cm. This variety grows with purple shoulders and pure white flesh. Slice or grate for salads, steam, stir-fry or bake as a hot veg, don’t forget the edible leaves!

SOW: for salad use sow these from March to July in situ: sow sparingly to minimise need to thin seedlings. For a succession of salad turnips make several sowings 2-3 weeks apart
