Tomato Tumbling Tom - Yellow

Tumbling Tom Yellow has a superb reputation for flavour with its small, sweet, juicy vibrant fruits. The tumbling name is all about their cascading habit – these plants may be compact, but their trusses will hang down on all sides, so the fruits appear to be tumbling down. They are the perfect choice for growing in hanging baskets or containers outside…or for growing inside in a conservatory or on a kitchen windowsill. Determinate.

SOW: start in spring 5-7 weeks before you plan to plant out, 1.5mm deep in good seed compost, germination takes 7-14 days at 24°C

GROW: transplant when large enough into small pots and grow on in cooler well-lit conditions.  Plant 1 per 30cm hanging basket, water well and grow on until well rooted.  Harden off before hanging outside after all risk of frost has passed.  Feed regularly.  Tumbling Tom is also ideal to grow over the edge of containers on the patio or hanging over a tall raised bed.
