Look forward to Sungold F1 and its heavy trusses of rich orange cherry toms with a luscious flavour, irresistibly sweet and juicy. This AGM winner will give you non-stop cropping from early summer onwards. A tall growing indeterminate.
Sow: start about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected, sow in modules (cover or put on a windowsill).
Grow: transplant to pots when large enough to handle and grow on until frost danger has passed. Harden off and plant in the greenhouse or in a sunny sheltered part of your garden. For the best flavour keep soil evenly damp (don’t over-water or overfeed). Sungold is indeterminate & can grow tall (2m), it will need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season.
Enjoy: non-stop cropping from early summer to the autumn, in a cool greenhouse it can fruit to the end of the year.
