Sweet Pea Molly Rilestone

Be charmed by Mollie Rilstone, a sweet pea with real beauty and a touch of whimsy. Each petal looks like a watercolour painting, with soft pink edging fading into a creamy background. SOW: seed depth 10mm. in deep pots from October to February and place in a cold frame or sow in March or April.  You can also direct sow in mild areas in the spring. Some gardeners like to soak the seed overnight before sowing to help with germination.
GROW:  harden off your spring sown plants before planting out in May/June for flowers from July.  Overwintered sweet peas often flower earlier.  Sweet peas need good support, so provide canes, netting or a frame. Feed with a high potash fertilizer and deadhead regularly to sustain flowering for as long as possible.
