Squash Celebration F1

Celebrate the best of squashes with Celebration F1: prolific, strong and vigorous plants, fabulous multi-coloured acorn fruits in shades of yellow and orange, fabulous flavour when mature, bush habit (well behaved) and resistant to powdery mildew. Really there isn’t much else to wax lyrical over… they really are worth celebrating!

SOW: from late April to the end of May, under cover to start them off, 1 per pot, seed depth 15mm. Keep moist but not waterlogged.



GROW: harden off & plant out after danger of frost has passed. In cooler areas you can protect young plants with cloches until they have settled in. Celebration’s first fruits are ready to harvest about 12 weeks from planting out, they will continue to fruit until the autumn although this later fruit will not mature. After harvest cure fruit before storing - leave them outdoors for about 14 days to harden the skin (protect from frost) or ripen in a greenhouse.



EAT: at 600-750g these are the perfect size to cut into quarters, sprinkle with herbs or chilli & roast. Sweet tooth? Caramelise with honey!
