Rudbeckia Sunhat has glorious flowers with a distinctive two-tone colouring. The petals have golden tips and deep velvety red-brown closer to the centre, surrounding the typical dark eye. This is a Black-Eyed Susan with that extra wow factor.  Bees enjoy these in your garden, they also make a lovely cut flower for your home.
🌸 Flowering: July to September
📏 Height: 60-80cm
🌿grow as an Annual, (short lived perennial)
SOW: during March to May in pots or modules of seed compost, cover with perlite or vermiculite.  Seal in a plastic bag and keep at about 18°C.  Germination takes around 2 weeks. Remove the bag as soon as they germinate.
GROW: pot on if needed when they have their first true leaves.  Keep moist and grow on until large enough to harden off.  After hardening off, plant out spacing at about 15-25cm apart in a sunny or lightly shaded place.
ENJOY: from summer into early autumn these will be a favourite with bees, bring colour to your garden and make a long-lasting cut flower.
