Rocket Uber

Uber is a super salad variety with the flavour punch of a wild rocket. Lovely thick dark green leaves start oval shaped and then grow into lobed shapes. The upright habit keeps the leaves clean from soil splash and make cutting easy. 

SOW: best sown in situ where you want them to grow at any time but from late autumn to early spring grow in a cool greenhouse, cold frame or under cloches.

GROW: keep watered, plants are ready to harvest after as soon as they are large enough but for the flavour punch wait until the leaves have developed lobes. You can cut Uber leaving about 3cm of stem above the ground, they will resprout for cutting again. Their upright habit keeps the leaves clean from soil splash and makes cutting easy too.

ENJOY: add a spark of flavour to your meals: chop & scatter over salads, roasted veg, pasta, omelettes or frittata just before serving.
