The name Scorpion is a clue to the on your taste buds – a super hot & tangy mustardy bite (the ‘sting’ in the tail) from the smallest leaves – perfect for a flare of flavour in salads and sandwiches. A great choice for pots on the windowsill. This is a fast-maturing relation to wild rocket, should it burst into early flower then munch those too!

Price for 200 seeds

SOW & GROW: from Feb to Oct, thinly 5mm deep in pots on the windowsill or outside (April to Sept). Keep watered, plants are ready as soon as leaves are large enough snip: super-hot baby leaves in 4 weeks or sooner if you just can’t wait. Scorpion can also be grown as a microgreen sprouted as you would for cress on damp cotton wool in a small tub on the windowsill. These will have hot hints but not as much flavour flare as the baby leaves. Sow a new little patch of Scorpion every week or two. As a relation to wild rocket, Scorpion soon wants to burst into flower – these are edible too but signal the end of the plant and to move on to the next pot or patch.

ENJOY: a punch of flavour with this super-hot & tangy variety - in salads, sandwiches, on pizza and tomato dishes…
