Radish Watermelon

The wonderful Watermelon radish's deep green shoulders on white skin combined with pinky-red flesh make this visually beautiful... but that would be no good without a delicious flavour. And this one won't dissapoint: crispy with a mild and sweet flavour make it an excellent choice for salads, garnishes and cooking (its very good in a stir fry). This variety, best grown in the cool of spring and autumn, is sometimes known as the Roseheart Radish - simply slice through to see its heart for yourself.
