Crisp and crunchy, mild and sweet, French Breakfast is a favourite of many people. The bright scarlet red roots have a brilliant white tip. This is the standard to which other radishes are measured against.
This variety is part of our naturally nurtured range, the seed comes from an organic source
SOW: March to September. Sow the seeds in situ in a 1cm deep drill and aiming for about 2cm spacing. To spread out your harvest sow the seed at slightly different times.
GROW: they like to be moist but not waterlogged. Pull to widen the spacing so that the rest have a little more room until you are ready for them too. Allow 6-8 weeks growing time, late season sowings may need a little protection.
ENJOY: fresh with salads or ring the changes by creating a radish and mint dip with Greek yogurt by simply grating the radishes and chopping up fresh mint stir together and then season with a pinch of salt
