Radish Cherry Belle

Cherry Belle is the most popular round radish and features bright red crisp roots and a lovely succulent sweet and mild flavour. It is a deserving winner of an AGM. Great outdoors, it also does well as an early protected crop. It is very fast so you can look forward to cropping in a mere 3 weeks!

To be an AGM winner means that this variety has been outstanding in trials: it is reliable and with great garden performance

SOW: March to August.  Sow the seeds in situ in a 1cm deep drill and aiming for about 2cm spacing.  To spread out your harvest sow the seed at slightly different times.  This variety is suitable for planting earlier (January to March) with protection.

GROW: they like to be moist but not waterlogged.  Cherry Belle will mature in just 20-30 days.  Pull to widen the spacing so that the rest have a little more room until you need them too.

ENJOY: enjoy their mild flavour in salads, slice and add to coleslaw for a little kick or cook them in a simple butter & sugar glaze and serve with a roast
