Physostegia ‘Crown of Snow’ features charming spikes of tiny white trumpet flowers above bright green foliage. Known as the obedient plant because you can gently twist or push the blooms into different positions—and they’ll stay put thanks to their flexible stems! This perennial brings lovely late-summer colour and reliably returns year after year. An AGM winner for good reason.

🌸 Flowering: August to September.

📏 Height: to 60cm

SOW
From late April to June, sow seeds in modules, covering lightly with perlite or vermiculite. Keep them warm (around 18°C) to speed germination, which usually takes 2–3 weeks (sometimes just 1–2 weeks with warmth).

GROW
Once seedlings are big enough, harden them off and transplant from June onwards into a sunny, well-drained spot. Watch out for slugs—they love young plants! When planting, you can cut the tops back a bit to encourage bushier growth. The plants need time to settle before they start flowering. In following springs, divide mature plants to keep them healthy and vigorous.

ENJOY:
With Physostegia ‘Crown of Snow’, have fun gently rearranging the individual blooms—or simply cut the flowering spikes for a fresh vase display.
