Pepper Trinidad Perfume

Trinidad Perfume is named for the wonderful aroma released as you cook these fruits. The smoky fruity flavour adds depth and richness to any dishes that you create with this variety. These are not your typical blocky peppers: they are pendant, sometimes known as crown headed, we think they look like a habanero but with no heat!

SOW & GROW: start by sowing indoors or under glass in March/April, seed depth 5mm.  Trinidad Perfume does best grown with protection: in warmer areas you can try planting out in a sheltered sunny spot after about 8 weeks but delay planting until frost risk has passed. You can fit three plants in a grow bag, they will also grow in containers or in the soil.  Peppers can grow on into October (& beyond in mild areas), protect with fleece if frost is likely.
