Pepper Mavras F1

Marvellous Mavras F1 will wow you with its vibrant deep purple fruits.  This sweet pepper matures early and can be picked while purple or left to ripen further to a rich dark red, gaining extra sweetness and depth of flavour as it does so. The plants are disease resistant, vigorous, and yet remain nicely ompact, reaching around 80cm tall. They love to be drenched in sunshine. The blocky fruit are crisp and tasty, perfect for salads and slicing, or for stuffing and roasting.  And that colour really does add another dimension to their marvellousness!  
SOW: start by sowing indoors or under glass From February to April at a seed depth of about 5mm.  Marvas enjoys a bit of coddling in a greenhouse or polytunnel. In warmer areas you can try planting out in a sun-drenched spot but always wait until all risk of frost has passed.  
GROW: three plants fit comfortably in a grow bag, and they also grow well in containers or directly in the soil. Plants can reach 80cm tall, and under protection they can continue fruiting into November 
ENJOY: the blocky fruits are great for grilling, stuffing and roasting.  Their sweetness makes them ideal for salads.  Their rich colours make them a marvellous addition to any meal.
