Beauty Bell F1 is a wonderful sweet bell pepper that ripens to an astonishing fire-engine red. The thick walled fruits are juicy and sweet. They can measure up to 8cm long by 8 cm wide (blocky shaped). They are lovely in a salad or stuffed: for the great cooks amongst you, consider this a gourmet variety.
SOW: start by sowing indoors or under glass in March/April, seed depth 5mm. Beauty Belle likes growing with protection; in warmer areas you can try planting out in a sheltered sunny spot after about 8 weeks: delay planting until all risk of frost is past.
GROW: you can put three plants in a grow bag, they will also grow in containers or in the soil. Peppers can continue growing into the autumn – protect with fleece if frost is likely.
ENJOY: their thick walls make them a super choice for stuffing.
