It can be sown at any time, withstanding heat and drought as well as snow and frost down to -5 and still maintains its flavour. Fabulous looseleaf variety, what more can we say?
SOW: at any time, withstanding heat and drought as well as frost and snow down to -5 and still maintains its flavour. Sowing a little seed every 2-3 weeks will give you a succession of lettuces. They can be started in modules & transplanted or sown in situ.
GROW: late autumn to early spring transplants will like a little protection while they settle, cloches without ends are one option that works well. These can be removed once the lettuces are growing away.
EAT & ENJOY: fresh in salad or as a side to hot dishes such as pasta
