Leaf Beet Bright Lights

Grow Bright Lights for terrific colour splashes in salad packs or, when large for cookinf.  Tasty and versatile. Look forward to a mix that could contain white, yellow, cream, orange, pink, lipstick and red. 

SOW & GROW: seed depth 20mm 
for individual plants sow in pots then transplant at 30-35cm apart.  Start them in late spring for summer and autumn harvesting of individual leaves and stems, plants will resprout.  Sow in July and August for autumn & winter cropping.
for cut-&-come-again spring to late summer sowings every few weeks outdoors for salad leaves through the summer. For leaves in winter & spring you will need to sow in the early autumn & early spring under cover.

ENJOY: cook the leaves like spinach or cabbage.  The stems can be cooked like rhubarb or try steaming and serve with butter as a starter like asparagus tips
