SOW & GROW
Sow seeds in spring or autumn in pots, aiming for about 10–15 seeds per pot. Mixing the seeds with a bit of fine sand helps spread them out evenly. Keep the pots at around 18°C. Germination usually takes 3–4 weeks in spring and a bit longer if you sow in autumn.
When the seedlings are big enough to handle, pot on the strongest ones individually. For spring sowings, transplant them outside in the autumn. If you sow in autumn, grow them on through winter—no need to worry about frost—and plant them out the following autumn.
Space the plants about 30–50cm apart to give them room to grow.
ENJOY
Bring height and colour to shady spots, shrub areas, or the back of borders. Its long-lasting blooms attract pollinators and add a traditional charm to your garden and vase.
