Didiscus Madonna Mix

Didiscus Madonna Mix produces a charming mix of lavender blue, white, pink, and rose flowers. The upright stems carry domed clusters of tiny blooms that are perfect for cutting once a few flowers in the cluster have opened.

SOW
Sow seeds during March to April in pots filled with seed compost. Germination can be a bit hit-and-miss, so sow three or four seeds per pot—you’ll only need about nine plants per square meter. For best results, just cover the seeds with compost, pop the pots in a plastic bag to keep moisture in, and keep them warm at around 18–20°C. They usually take 2–3 weeks to come up.

GROW
Once all danger of frost has passed (usually late May), harden off the plants and transplant them outside. Space them about 20–25cm apart. They like a sunny spot with well-drained soil and might need a few sticks for support as they grow.

ENJOY
Pick your flowers in the morning when some blooms are open, and change the water daily to keep them fresh. Deadhead regularly to help the plants keep blooming longer in the garden.
