🌿Treat this tender perennial as a Half Hardy Annual.
SOW & GROW
Sow seeds during March & April in seed trays or modules, lightly cover them, then seal in a plastic bag to keep moisture in and help with germination. Keep at around 18°C. Seeds should sprout in 1–2 weeks. When seedlings are big enough, pot them on and grow on in cooler conditions for about 2 weeks.
Once all risk of frost has passed, harden off the plants and plant them out, spacing about 30–45cm apart. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and stake if they need a bit of support.
ENJOY
Loved by POLLINATORS, an excellent CUT FLOWER plus the petals are EDIBLE – scatter over salads and puddings
