Garlic Chives (Allium tuberosum), also known as Chinese chives: these perennial herbs have a mild garlic flavor, making them a versatile addition to salads or cooked dishes. The delicate white flowers are also edible - simply tease apart the florets and sprinkle them over your food for a fresh, garlicky touch

GROW
- Spring: Clear around the clumps and consider feeding them to encourage healthy growth.
- Summer: Remove flower stems to encourage more leaf production.
- Autumn: Pot up a clump for the windowsill to enjoy fresh chives through the winter.
- Every 3 years: Dig up the clumps, divide them into smaller sections, and replant with some added compost to give them a boost.
