🌱 Seasonal Growing Guide

SPRING

• Sow seeds In pots or plug trays.
• If sowing in early spring, use bottom heat to encourage germination or wait until mid-spring
• Once seedlings are large enough to handle, pot them up and continue to grow on.
• Water early in the day to reduce the risk of damping off.

SUMMER

• Transplant the seedlings when large enough & after danger of frost risk has passed.
• Pinch out flower buds to keep the plant leafy and prolong harvest.
• Pick leaves regularly for best flavour.

AUTUMN

• With some care, you can extend your harvest into winter.
• Plants may need feeding or repotting to keep them vigorous.

ENJOY: aromatic and versatile

It is very successful in pots, easy to look after. Use the young leaves whole in a wide range of dishes – lovely with peppers.
