Squash Bon Bon F1

Tastiest squash I have grown yet! Very good baked or roasted. Lovely soft texture too. Planted in pot (about 18 inch diameter) due to my small garden and grew well considering their less than ideal conditions. I only got one fruit per plant, but put this down to being in a pot rather than the ground.

I have grown this for three years now and will continue to do so - the fruit is slightly smaller than the others (crown prince) I grow - between 2 to 2.5 kilo - which is a very useful size. I find I use some of it and then just leave it out in the kitchen and cut chunks of it to use over the next week to 10 days. It keeps well. The taste is lovely. The only slight problem I have is that I only usually get one or two fruits per plant - I would welcome advice on how to get more.
