Petite Provencal is French heirloom variety producing very sweet small petit pois peas and tasty tendrils. They take about 7 weeks from spring sowing to harvest, a little less if you pick them early as a snow pea, they can be overwintered (sown November to February) for early cropping around May. Reaching 40-50cm high they don’t need supporting.
Sow and overwinter between November and February: avoid sowing during very cold or very wet periods – open ended cloches may be needed protect from extreme cold and rain.
Spring sow from March to June
