Tomato Rosella

Superbly sweet and not very acidic. I’d say nicer than the black cherry variety. This has become one that I grow every year. Highly productive, they do have a tendency to split easier than other varieties I’ve grown but that doesn’t bother me as they don’t last long enough to go off. If your looking for flavour then try this.

Good germination and grew well outside. Last year a lot of them split - this year not so much. They seem to take a while to ripen and can split so I harvested quite a lot before they were quite ripe and let them ripen at home. The trusses were huge - so lots of tomatoes - and the flavour of the fully ripe ones was fantastic - well worth growing - will grow again. The only cherry tomato I grow now. Only reason 4 not 5 stars is because of splitting.
