This is an early outdoor variety with exceptional flavour and colour that is also a heavy cropper. Very reliable. No need to take out side shoots, allow it to bush for the fullest crops of medium sized fruits. Indeterminate type. (12 seeds per packet)
SOW: we start ours about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected sowing in modules (cover or put on a windowsill). We transplant to pots when large enough to handle and grow on until ready to harden off and plant after frost danger has passed.
GROW: ideal for growing outside in a sunny sheltered part of your garden (or in a greenhouse). Outdoor Girl, being indeterminate, may need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season. There is no need to pinch out the side shoots unless you prefer to do so.
EAT: lovely in salads or sandwiches.
