Stunning variety producing huge clusters of fruit on each truss. These yellow fruit are sweet with a slightly tart undertone giving a depth of flavour not normally found in grape toms. An RHS winner to grow as a cordon inside or outdoors. Indeterminate Price for 12 seeds
SOW: we start ours about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected sowing in modules (cover or put on a windowsill). We transplant to pots when large enough to handle and grow on until ready to harden off and plant after frost danger has passed.
GROW: plant in the greenhouse or in a sunny sheltered part of your garden. For the best flavour keep soil evenly damp (don’t over-water or overfeed). Ildi, being indeterminate, can grow tall and will need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season. Best grown as a cordon by pinching out side shoots.
EAT: sweet with a slightly tart undertone.
