2022 was my first time growing corn of any kind and also my first summer with somewhere to grow it (although I might try a few this year in the front garden as eyecatching ornamentals).
I sowed them in April, in deep modules, planting them out when tall enough in a newly constructed sideless no-dig bed - literally cardboard laid on strimmed couch grass and piled with a few bagfulls of compost. Had a couple of squashes underneath them, too. I used Struch to mulch after planting.
Anyway - they were FANTASTIC and I was SOOO proud of myself for growing such a magnificent looking crop. Highly recommended :)
