Parsnip Victor F1

£0.75 / pack(s)

Parsnip Victor has long tapering roots with a smooth white skin, high quality, really good flavour and it is a British bred variety.  Great for cooking and expected to be the new favourite for exhibitions too.  Price for 60 seeds.

For garden growers (and eaters) the best sowing time is during April and May with harvesting from September through to February.

If you are growing for exhibitions then you can sow from February: for the longest straight roots, bore deep holes with a long bar and fill with a sandy compost mix.
