Spicy Globe grows in a unique ball shape without trimming. They reach 25-30cm in size and can be used as edging or accents in small pots or indeed indoors. And that spicy flavour, almost peppery with the sweetness of basil, is perfect for pasta, bruschetta, salads, quiche and soup. The little leaves can be used whole.

SOW: in pots or plug trays (not seed trays) in spring, seed depth 5-10mm. Use bottom heat or wait until mid-spring, water well early in the day. Transplant the seedlings when at least 5cm tall & after danger of frost risk has passed.

Spring – sow them.
Summer – pinch out to prevent flowering and harvest leaves
Autumn – bring a pot into the house, dig up old plants from the garden.
