These little tapered beauties, gradually ripening from green to bright red, pop upright from all over the plants – like little flames – fabulous, eye-catching, & prolific. And these are compact plants perfect for growing in pots on your windowsill or in a conservatory reaching no more than 45cm but generally smaller than this. For adding heat at a BBQ just move a pot near the grill to pick and munch as you cook and dish up!
Price for 10 seeds
SOW: from January to end of May, indoors in a warm soil in trays or modules barely covering the seeds as they need light to germinate. When they reach the 2/3 leaf stage pot up and grow on.
GROW: transplant when the roots show at the bottom to suitable sized pots for a 45cm max height plant: best growing on a windowsill, in a greenhouse or in a conservatory as these are sun and warmth loving plants!
ENJOY: gradually ripening from green to bright red, you can pick these straight from the plant for a brave munch, chop for scattering that heat over and through your dishes or for bright flashes of heat in salad!
