Sangria features lovely bright green leaves with contrasting red stems and a distinct radishy flavour. Grow these at any time of the year: simply chop the hairless leaves and toss into your salad bowl for a burst of flavour and colour.

SOW: at any time of the year although from late autumn to spring they will appreciate protection from the inclement weather! You can either sow directly in a short row or start a few seeds in a wide pot every two weeks or so for growing as a little potted clump.
GROW: let them grow! Pinch off the leaves as and when you want to eat them.
