Yay, early Spring has arrived with a plethora of delicious choices for sowing now.  Here are 6 wonderful varieties that you can sow now and enjoy from summer to next spring! Aubergine Bonica F1 ~ lovely roasted or baked: retaining their flavour when soft and tender.  This AGM winner is a compact bushy choice with large shiny purple fruits (10 seeds)            

Brussel Sprout Trafalgar F1 ~ sow now for Christmas and new year sprouts…delicious medium sized buttons from this heavy cropping choice  (15 seeds)

Calabrese Green Sprouting ~ this is one of the best open pollinated varieties.  It crops over a long period, sown now cropping will start about June.  (20 seeds)

Cauliflower Igloo ~ an early variety that can be used to grow mini cauliflowers or large head.  Sow in March and mini heads can be picked from August, allow some to grow on for large heads in late autumn (18 seeds)

Kale Black Magic ~ related to Cavelo Nero this variety has long, slender leaves which mature to a rich green that looks almost black from a distance. Young leaves suitable for salads, this variety will crop right through to next spring (12 seeds)

Shallot Zebrunne ~ long brown bulbs with a blush of pink to the skins: delicious, mild & sweet flavoured.  If you are new to shallots they are more delicately flavoured than regular onions and harvest at a similar time in August and September  (60 seeds).
