FEBRUARY SOWING GUIDE

FEBRUARY SOWING GUIDE

FEBRUARY SOWING GUIDE

As the season moves into late winter your sowing choices start to expand : there are veggies, herbs and flowers ready to sow

Most will need starting under cover or in the warmth, each seed packet will guide you.

Under cover: (cloches, cold frames, polytunnel & unheated greenhouses – you may well need fleece for the cold nights for extra protection).

In the warmth: such as a window sill or heated greenhouse:  take care not to chill seedlings at night (a window sill behind a closed curtain can be much colder than the room) or to have them too wet.
